But don't take our word for it..

See what our happy customers have to say!

We got our hot water system installed today So easy and stress free. The two installers were great. All done in 2 hours and they wore masks. Well done. Highly recommend this company....

After all my questions were answered via a phone conversation with a rep.....who was in Australia!! we booked for the install of the 260 litre Eco Alliance heat pump system. The two tradies arrived exactly on time, spent 2 and a half hours installing our FREE unit (no installation cost), cleaned up their mess and were on their way. You do have to get rid of the old unit, however our local transfer station takes these for FREE.

Had the free 260 litre pump hot water unit installed yesterday. Took 4 hours to heat initially but it does reheat as you use it. The process to qualify for this and arrange was a really easy process and communication was excellent. After applying they contacted me within 24 hours. A big thanks to Louise and Ben from Eco Alliance for their organising and coordination. The local tradesmen did an excellent job of installation. Would recommend anyone with an outside electric hot water unit to apply.

Just had two tradies rock up to do an install of a 260L unit at my apartment. They were efficient, knowledgeable and even gave me a compliment on my wife's choice of art work for our hallway! Couldn't recommend them highly enough! New unit looks great, too! Thanks Dylan and Vince!!!

Frequently Asked Questions

This sounds too good to be true, what’s the catch?

No catch – Government rebates are provided when inefficient, power hungry appliances are replaced with approved, energy efficient alternatives. These upgrades use much less power to deliver the same levels of hot water (no cold showers!!) and are great for the environment relieving pressure from the electricity grid. Victorians who replace an electric hot water system are eligible for both a VEEC rebate and also a STC rebate, which means standard supply and installs (normally costing several thousand dollars) are provided FREE OF CHARGE!

Is it free for everyone? What do I need to do be eligible?

For all standard installations where the electric hot water system is installed outside and your switchboard doesn’t require an upgrade (to add a circuit breaker) – there is absolutely no cost involved. For complex installations where the system may need to be relocated (eg from inside the laundry) there will be costs associated to relocate the system to an external location, we recommend using your own trades for this part of the upgrade to ensure you still receive a free supply and installation from us! Our friendly team are more than happy to discuss your particular situation.

Who installs the new systems?

The system is installed by a licensed electrician and a plumber, you are provided with certificates of compliance and safety and all the rebate paperwork is taken care of.

What brand are the new hot water systems, are they good quality?

The Dynaheat Hot Water Systems are manufactured and installed by Eco Alliance, a Melbourne based company who have been providing energy efficient solutions to commercial businesses and households for over a decade. The systems are manufactured using quality components and engineered specifically for Australian conditions.

What are the benefits of heat pump hot water systems?

“A heat-pump water heater uses much less electricity than an electric storage water heater. This is because it only requires electricity to drive the compressor and the fan, instead of using electricity to heat the water directly, with an electric element.” From The system uses renewable energy to generate hot water without the need for a solar panel, and produces hot water with 80% greater efficiency. The systems work day and night, rain, hail or sunshine!

I’m not sure what type of hot water system I currently have, can you help?

No problem, simply hit Apply Now and a member of our technical team will call and determine what type of system you have and if you are eligible for the free upgrade!

Are you an Accredited Person under the VEU Program?

Absolutely! Eco Alliance is part of the Eco Light Up Group, we are Accredited across Victoria, NSW and Federal Energy Efficiency Programs. VEU Accreditation # A0514
